Peel Regional Police —
Branding the Records Bureau
Records Services is the information bureau within Peel Regional Police. It is a centre for information processing, storage and retrieval. At the heart of the identity is a crest that is comprised of two hands which are engaged in an exchange of information, a shield symbolizing the protection of information, and six maple leaves that are representative of the six distinct groups within Records. The crest was proceeded by a proposal to develop an internal brand for the group. While PRP chose not to proceed with the extended proposal, the crest was implemented.
