Neuroscaping® is a design practice that builds solutions on the basis of behavioural and psychological data. Comprised of researchers, strategists, and design consultants, it is a collective of industry experts tackling complex human challenges such as focus deficit, retention limitations, and cognitive fatigue, all of which are barriers to modern communication.
An identity was developed for Neuroscaping® that focused on the agency's process and methodology. It centred around a lowercase N lettermark comprised of evenly spaced round dots – the arch being a symbolic gesture of the gateway to the human mind, and the dots which connect in the viewer's mind to register as the letter N.
Dots form the basis of a dynamic blur pattern used throughout the design. The blurred dots interact with full justified typography to create a messaging system that takes focus to decipher. Elsewhere, portraits are represented in silhouette form on dark, starry backgrounds as a nod to the mysteries of the human mind.
